Digital Art Revolution author Scott Ligon’s new short film Figure-Ground continues its film festival tour this week with the Silicon Valley Film Festival, sponsored by Apple and Avid! The festival takes place October 1 and 2 in beautiful Santa Clara, CA.

The film, a hybrid of animation and live action video, is a narrative of the directors father passing away.

Scott’s father is played by veteran actor Allan Kulakow, who has been in several movies, including Death by Dawn, Syriana, The Good Shepherd, and HBO’s Something the Lord Made. He appeared as the Joint Chief of Staff on West Wing.
